Job Description

PRIMARY SKILLSAdvises junior team members on questions regarding loan agreement terms and conditions; makes recommendations as needed.Reviews and assists with complex closings or covenant violations and other matters where subject matter expertise is required. QC& review cases for full adherence with Client Policy Standards & Operating ProceduresAnalyze and review quality trends and error themes, reporting feedback to internal & client leadership for timely training intervention.Recognize, document, and assess key risks, control environments and applicable regulations; Identify and escalate critical issues to their Quality Control Team HeadAct as a subject matter resource regarding quality and compliance against policy and standards for the teamGathers data and prepares reports for Senior Management, internal audits, and other business units.Support Manager, supervise the daily operations, ensuring all daily key controls are adhered to and all applicable deadlines for operational tasks are completed accurately and on time to the expected standards in accordance with procedures.  Act as point of escalation for the team ensuring swift onward escalation of any operational issues requiring management attentionResponsible for team cross training, facilitate training by providing and/or coordinating team study sessions, undertaking one to one development reviews and snapshots ensuring duties are evenly and fairly distributedProactively review and maintain desktop procedures relating to day to day processes. Make regular suggestions to improve and enhance operational process flows based on analysis and evidence and explore ways to improve efficiency within the remit of their roleProduce and disseminate Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly MI and reportingSupport team members to ensure all allocated work is completed in a timely manner with high standards and controls being maintainedSECONDARY SKILLSParticipate in UAT/Build Testing of and enhancements to Section applicationsProactively engages with both internal and external customers to build trusting relationshipsProactively puts forward ideas to improve the efficiency and effectivenessTo ensure prompt escalation of any production issues and follow through to ensure prompt remediationProactively follows compliance procedures and completes tasks accurately. Attends compliance training and integrates learning and requirements into the day to day delivery of tasks, demonstrating an understanding of applicable risks and controlsGraduate or post graduate (Preferred) in CommerceFluent in English (spoken and written)Minimum 2-4 years related to Covenant Management and Loan AdministrationFluent in English (spoken and written)Strong understanding of loan agreements and terminology.
